In honor of Activity Professionals Week, we're excited to share the heartfelt journey of Rebecca  Haist, an integral part of the Fountain View at Logan Square family for almost a year. With a background in Health Policy and Administration, Rebecca's dedication to seniors has left an indelible mark.

Reflecting on her time, Rebecca mentions, "March marked almost a year since I started at Fountain View. My interest in working with seniors has been a constant, rooted in my academic journey." Her college days, where she served as the fundraising chair for the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA), brought valuable insights and a genuine appreciation for the seniors' wealth of experiences.

Rebecca's story takes an interesting turn with her involvement with Rendever. With a touch of enthusiasm, she shares, "My experience with Rendever has been eye-opening. Exploring new territories alongside residents, from a virtual gondola ride in Venice to hiking Mt. Everest and learning about NASA missions, has been a unique adventure!" These virtual escapades become moments that add a sprinkle of joy and curiosity to everyday life.

Her connection with residents during these virtual adventures is evident as she notes, "I get to hear stories from our well-traveled residents, revisiting childhood towns or recalling past trips. It's an emotional experience for them, and being part of it is truly special." These shared moments create genuine connections that leave a lasting impact.

As we continue with Activity Professionals Week, our gratitude extends to Rebecca Haist for a year filled with sincerity, compassion, and a touch of creativity. Her journey, intertwined with the technology of Rendever, highlights the importance of genuine connections in creating meaningful experiences for the Fountain View community. Thank you, Rebecca, for a year of authentic connections and shared moments.
