Older adults in day programs at the Stamford, Connecticut center utilize the award-winning virtual reality platform for recreation, memory care, and building relationships

BOSTON (July 31, 2024) – Rendever, the Boston-based company pioneering the future of aging through virtual reality (VR), announces that Evergreen Daytime Senior Care has rolled out Rendever’s engagement platform. This partnership will bring the power of positive shared social experiences to Evergreen, fostering connections and improving the well-being of its daytime care members. This further expands Rendever’s offerings to adult day care programming - now bringing the VR solution to aging adults seeking part-time care and social opportunities.

Daytime senior care centers provide a flexible alternative to traditional assisted living senior care and at-home care. In these environments, trained caregivers offer engaging activities and experiences that build relationships, keep the senior guests active throughout their days, and support their needs. As an inclusive platform, Rendever is enjoyed by users of different cognitive and physical capabilities. Its virtual experiences can be tailored to what each group or individual hopes to achieve with each session. Studies have proven Rendever to improve the quality of life and social networks of older adults, helping them feel more included in their community.

“Evergreen Daytime Senior Care is taking on a critical part of the senior care spectrum. They’re caring for older adults in that middle space between living independently and needing some guided care, or those simply looking for companionship in their daily lives,” said Rendever Vice President of Partner Success David Stoller. “It’s important for us to offer Rendever to this cohort of older adults and we are thrilled to see how much Evergreen’s members have been enjoying our virtual experiences already.”

“It is our goal to be a space where every senior feels seen, heard, and valued. We’re creating spaces where seniors can connect and thrive with one another. As our programming is designed to promote engagement, bringing on Rendever was one of the simplest decisions,” said Evergreen founder Gabriel Corredor.  “Our members look forward to the new adventures they get to experience through the platform every day.”

Rendever is available in over 600 senior living communities, hospitals, and healthcare organizations across North America.
