by Rendever on Apr 4, 2023 8:26:00 AM
We're proud to share the addition of two new members on our leadership team: Catherine Day, VP of Product Strategy, and Nathan Myers, VP of Global Healthcare Partnerships. Full bios are below, along with a quote from our CEO:
“We want everyone and their families to feel the positive impact of Rendever. It has the potential to change lives every day, and that's what is driving us toward these exciting growth opportunities,” said Rendever CEO and Co-Founder Kyle Rand. “Catherine and Nathan are talented new additions to our stacked leadership team, and we're excited to accelerate towards our mission of serving more people every day.”
Catherine Day, VP of Product Strategy
Catherine has been working at the nexus of media, tech and human impact for two decades. An award-winning filmmaker, Catherine has experience creating Hollywood movies, music videos, documentaries and live interactive news and TV for many major studios, networks and non-profits.
In 2016, Catherine began working in virtual reality as head of all docu-style content for Jaunt where she partnered with ABC News, The White House, Conservation International and was profiled in Vanity Fair’s “Women To Watch in Tech” for her accomplishments in impact-focused VR. Catherine has also been executive producer on XR projects with Google, Meta and Apple before becoming EVP of Content and Innovation for Spielberg’s Dreamscape VR. Upon moving back home to Boston, Catherine shifted focus towards XR’s ability to strengthen communication and human connection at Verizon where she led XR product and strategy for 5G Labs.
She is thrilled to be Rendever’s new VP of Product Strategy where she will optimize existing products and services while leading strategy and product design as the company expands its impact to the entire world of care. She is excited about building Rendever into the go-to solution for all loved ones looking to make the most out of the time we’ve all been given.
Nathan Myers, VP of Global Healthcare Partnerships
Over the 20 years of his career, Nathan has led a series of startups and large-scale companies in successful commercial launches into the healthcare sector. His success comes from taking disruptive technologies and pairing them to the needs of healthcare customers. He has had great success building commercial teams to deliver long-term success for companies with a focus of driving alignment in each business partnership to surround end users.
Nathan is excited to join the Rendever team as VP of Global Healthcare Partnerships. In his role, Myers will round out Rendever’s services in healthcare by bringing its technology to hospitals across the country where VR will aid patients in their healthcare journey as they undergo treatments.
“I have seen firsthand the detriment social isolation can bring to people,” Myers said. “My mom put on a VR headset for the first time three years ago and has used it every day since. Rendever’s success with industry leading healthcare systems like UCHealth has set the stage for what’s possible for us. I continue to be amazed by the culture at Rendever and am impressed with the continued evolution of the experiences and platform.”
